Political infighting threatens Venezuela’s access to COVID-19 vaccine

While most countries in South America have begun mass vaccination programs,Venezuelahas been slow to get going. Politics may bepartly toblame.

A Caracas resident told us, “According to the government, it will arrive in April, but let’s see.”

The medical experts warn that mixing politics and COVID could be dangerous. They say this is the time for agreement, not discussion.
